At the Danish Wikipedia we can read:
Enevoldsen won in the period 1940-60 the Danish championship five times and was the leading player until Bent Larsen made his entrance on the chess scene.
He received the title of international champion in 1950. Enevoldsen played in the period from 1933 to 72,140 caps by 147 parties.
No one has played in the national team for a long period. Enevoldsen was for years a colorful chess editor of the newspaper Politiken,
and his literary activities was significant; blue. autobiography 30 years at the chessboard (1952) and the world's best chess I-II (1966-68).
